This was communicated to the University management by the Governing
Council of NADVA. The Council described the award as an initiative aimed
at celebrating the virtues of excellence in consonance with President
Goodluck Jonathan’s transformation agenda. The award is organized
consistently to reward and promote great virtues of notable and credible
achievers. Covenant University’s nomination came as a result of a
public opinion poll conducted across the 36 states of the Federation
including the FCT. The award ceremony will take place at Abuja, where
the final winner selected among other nominees through a nationwide
voting via short code SMS will be announced.
